From a WhatsApp photo to the cutting table: a glass plant that now types each order once
A glass processing and insulated-glass plant serving builders, façade firms, design studios and homeowners. Orders came in as photos and handwritten lists, were costed in a spreadsheet, then typed again into the cutting software and the accounting system. Lorryn built one system for the whole order, used every day by the director, the accountant, production and the warehouse.

Customers send sizes as WhatsApp photos, screenshots, handwritten lists or drawings, in Azerbaijani, Russian or Turkish. The AI reads them into a table, converts metres and centimetres to millimetres, and staff check it before adding it to the order. Pasted WhatsApp text works the same way.
Before · by handEvery size typed by hand from photos and chat messages.
With LorrynRead from the photo in seconds, checked by a person, added in one click.
The sheets this order really uses, plus spacer, sealant, labour and margin
02 · Cutting plan + true cost
The real sheet layout decides the cost
For every order the system tries each stock sheet size (3210 × 2250, 3210 × 2550 and 1605 × 2550 mm), both orientations and several packing orders, then keeps the layout with the least waste. Glass, spacer, clips, desiccant, sealant, tempering, labour and margin are calculated from that plan, so the price is based on the glass the order really uses.
Before · by handCosted in a Google Sheet with a fixed 10–15% waste guess per glass type.
With LorrynCalculated as sizes are entered, from the least-waste layout. The old guess is shown next to it for comparison.

03 · One-click quote
A quote the customer can read, in the format they use
The same order becomes a printable PDF quote with sizes, m², terms and total, or WhatsApp-ready text copied to the clipboard. Terms come from settings: delivery in 3–5 working days after the advance, 50% upfront, valid 14 days.

04 · Straight to the cutting table
No retyping at the cutting table
For production, the system writes the job file the plant’s Lider cutting table already reads (.r01, used by its Edit-Way software), one file per glass type and thickness. After the table’s software optimises it, the result file comes back in, and the plan is compared with what was actually cut. The cost is corrected to the real m².
Before · by handEvery size typed again on the cutting-table computer.
With LorrynA ready file goes to the table; the actual result comes back and updates the cost.
Orders move from the warehouse to material ready, production, ready and delivered. Each person sees only their own steps: the warehouse allocates material and handles delivery, operators move orders through production and record actual sheets and waste. Operators and the warehouse never see prices or customer phone numbers.
Before · by handStatus passed on by phone and word of mouth.
With LorrynOne board, updated by the person doing the work, with every step logged.
Cancelled documents keep their number and a reason. Nothing is deleted.
06 · Invoice, delivery and accounting
The invoice is ready when the glass is
When an order reaches Ready, a draft sales invoice is created automatically. The accountant approves it and downloads a file for Mikro, the plant’s accounting software. The warehouse prints a numbered delivery act with vehicle, driver and receiver, and marking it delivered closes the order.
Before · by handInvoices and delivery notes written by hand, then sales typed again into Mikro.
With LorrynDrafted automatically, approved in one click, exported to Mikro as a file.

07 · Director approvals
No price changes without the director
The accountant can enter and edit orders freely, but a non-standard price, or any number on an approved order, goes to the director first. The director sees a plain-language list of what changed and approves or rejects it. Logins, changes and documents are all kept in an audit log.
Before · by handPrice changes agreed verbally, with no record.
With LorrynEvery change waits for approval and is logged with who made it.

FAQ
Questions plant owners ask
Does it work with our cutting table?
Yes. It writes the job file the table’s software already uses and reads the optimised result back.
Can production staff see prices?
No. Operators and the warehouse never see prices or customer phone numbers.
Do we have to change accounting software?
No. Invoices export as a file for the accounting software the plant already uses.
